Haryana govt notifies norms for issuing appreciation letter
Chandigarh February 25
In Haryana, government officers and employees will now receive appreciation letters recognising exceptional work performance. These letters will be issued based on their outstanding achievements. Furthermore, they will be documented in the personal files of the respective officers or employees.
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal issued detailed instructions in this regard here today.
In a letter addressed by the Chief Secretary to all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, managing directors of corporations and boards, registrars of all universities, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners, it was stated that utmost care should be taken in issuing appreciation letters.
Those should only be awarded in truly evaluable cases and at the end of the prescribed reporting period. If appreciation is given too easily, it will lose its significance.
