Haryana MC poll: 12 booths in Hansi sensitive, three in Barwala hypersensitive

The district administration has declared 12 booths of the Hansi Municipal Council and seven booths of Barwala Municipal Committee as sensitive besides three booths in Barwala MC as hypersensitive in view of the polling for the Urban Local Bodies scheduled on June 19.
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Dr Priyanka Soni during a meeting with the officials concerned stated that all the necessary steps were being taken to ensure conduct the general elections of the Barwala Municipality in a free, fair and peaceful manner. She along with the Superintendent of Police, Lokender Singh, inspected the strong rooms, EVMs and polling booths and also took out a flag march in these towns.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that there are 30,841 voters in Barwala, for which 36 booths have been set up at different places, including three sensitive and seven hypersensitive polling stations. She also took stock of the polling stations set up in Government Primary School, Government Model Culture Senior Secondary School, Nahar Kothi and Government Model Culture Primary School, Shivpuri in Barwala town. She has also given direction to make proper arrangements including electricity, water at all polling stations set up for the election. The administration has also declared 13 polling stations as sensitive in Hansi town.
Superintendent of Police Lokender Singh said proper arrangements would be made in view of security at all polling stations set up for the municipal election. Additional police force will be deployed at sensitive and hypersensitive polling stations.
