Haryana retains ‘Achievers’ status in logistics ease
Haryana has maintained its esteemed position in the 'Achievers' category for landlocked states in the Logistics Ease Across Different States (LEADS) Survey 2024, conducted by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The award, recognising Haryana's advancements in logistics infrastructure and services, was recently conferred by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal at a ceremony in New Delhi. Principal Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, D Suresh, presented the award to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The LEADS survey assesses states and Union Territories based on their logistics infrastructure, services, regulatory environment, sustainability and equitable logistics practices. Haryana’s continued inclusion in the "Achievers" category highlights its sustained efforts to create a business-friendly environment and solidify its position as a logistics hub in India.
The recognition reaffirms Haryana’s commitment to driving economic growth through efficient logistics systems and fostering a conducive environment for industry and commerce.
