Haryana's first-ever admn grievance redressal camp held in Chandigarh
Minister Krishan Lal Panwar meets Director General of Development & Panchayat Department
The Development and Panchayat Department organised a one-day administrative grievance redressal camp in Chandigarh under the chairmanship of minister Krishan Lal Panwar on Wednesday.
The minister held talks with Secretary and Director General of the department to resolve pending employee-related files.
Panwar said such an initiative had been undertaken in the state for the first time. Through this, not only were the long-pending files resolved, but officers and employees also gained confidence that their issues were being addressed promptly by the department. He said the step would enhance transparency, accountability and efficiency within the department. It would also accelerate departmental work, thereby directly benefitting the public in rural development and panchayat-related activities in a short time, he added.
Panwar emphasised that time-bound resolution of departmental employees’ issues was a priority for the government. Similar outreach camps would also be regularly organised in the future, ensuring that officers and employees got swift redressal of any administrative difficulties related to their rights and entitlements.
As part of the innovative initiative, the pending cases related to Assured Career Progression (ACP) of 17 District Development and Panchayat Officers (DDPOs) were resolved on priority, and certificates were handed over to five officers on the spot.
