Health checkup camp held at Panipat village
Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex (PRPC) recently organised a health checkup camp at Government Secondary School, Baljattan.
The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to villagers, ensuring easy access to medical facilities and promoting health awareness in rural areas.
The camp was inaugurated by ML Dahriya, ED & RH, PRPC. Om Prakash, CGM (HR), and Baljattan Sarpanch Narender Rathi were among those present on the occasion.
A team of specialist doctors, including paediatricians, gynaecologists, ENT specialists and general physicians, provided consultations.
The camp was equipped with diagnostic services such as blood tests, sugar tests, oximeters, ECG machines and weight measurement machines. Additionally, free medicines were distributed
to villagers.
ML Dahriya said, “The refinery is surrounded by villages that have significantly contributed to India’s growth in agriculture and industrialisation. However, we recognise that access to basic healthcare remains a challenge in these rural areas. With inputs from sarpanches, we have learned that the absence of hospitals and qualified medical professionals forces villagers to travel long distances for treatment, often making healthcare inaccessible and unaffordable. This health camp is a step towards bridging that gap and ensuring quality medical services reach those in need.”
