Health Minister Arti Rao said the new system, developed by the National Health Mission (NHM), Haryana, had been designed to enhance accountability and transparency in the administration.
The employees would be required to download the ‘Geofenced Attendance HRY’ app, which is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
As part of this initiative, the disbursement of salaries to all officers and employees would be entirely based on data from the geofencing system. This decision is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, prevent misconduct, and ensure the smooth functioning of the health system across the state.
Rao said this step would ensure better service delivery and greater accountability, ultimately benefiting the people of Haryana.
“The implementation of geofencing-based attendance management is a crucial move toward ensuring discipline and enhancing efficiency in our health system. By embracing digital solutions, our aim is to ensure that every officer and employee of the department remains accountable and committed to serving the people of Haryana,” she said.
She highlighted that this initiative aligned with the vision of Digital India, which promotes the use of technology to deliver efficient, transparent and citizen-centric governance.
