Health Minister Arti Singh Rao today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 70 development projects worth Rs 634 lakh for various places under Ateli Assembly constituency of the district.
Out of those, development works worth Rs 394 lakh were inaugurated and foundation stones for new projects amounting to Rs 240 lakh were laid.
In addition to the development works, the minister distributed electric tricycles and other assistive devices worth Rs 4.62 lakh to 38 differently-abled beneficiaries.
The distribution was conducted in collaboration with the District Red Cross Society and ALIMCO.
Addressing the gathering at Kanina administrative block, Arti emphasised the state government’s commitment to improving the health sector under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
She highlighted that the government was working to ensure that citizens receive high-quality healthcare services, ranging from basic treatment at primary health centres to advanced medical care in district hospitals.
Speaking on the developmental initiatives in the Ateli region, she remarked, “This is just a trailer. The full picture of development is yet to come. In the next four and a half years, we will see an even greater wave of progress.”
The minister also noted recent upgrades to the Narnaul Civil Hospital with the installation of a blood component separation machine. This will enable the preparation of separate blood components like platelets and fresh frozen plasma, especially crucial for treating dengue patients. Earlier, panchayat samiti chairman Jaiprakash Yadav welcomed the minister at the event.
Deputy Commissioner Vivek Bharti, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Anand Kumar Sharma, SDM Dr Jitendra Singh, Zila Parishad CEO Manoj Kumar, Tehsildar Manjeet Kumar were also present on the occasion.
