Heroin worth Rs 35 lakh seized

Tisar: The Fatehabad police have seized 350 grams of heroin worth around Rs 35 lakhs and arrested two persons in this connection. The Fatehabad CIA team received a tip-off that two persons were smuggling narcotics from Delhi to Punjab. The arrested have been identified as Pankaj and Amit, residents of Fatehabad. TNS

Chandigarh: A joint team of the Food and Drug Administration and State Narcotics Control Bureau nabbed an alleged peddler in Yamunanagar on Friday evening. Three hurt in firing

Karnal: Three persons were injured, including two with bullet injuries, in a clash between two groups outside the Titram police station in Kaithal district on Saturday. Hisar: The police have registered a rape case against an employee of the Central Jail in Hisar on the complaint of a 30-year-old woman. The victim said the accused, Rajbir Fauji, a resident of Dhani Shobha, took her to a hotel three years ago, intoxicated her drink, videograped the crime and had been blackmailing her since. TNS
