Hisar civic body starts special inspection of cleanliness works

Under the ongoing statewide cleanliness and sanitation drive, the Municipal Corporation, Hisar, has started a special inspection of cleanliness works across the town every morning.

Municipal Commissioner Neeraj, along with councillor Bhim Mahajan and Assistant Sanitary Inspector (ASI) Rahul, inspected cleanliness works and parks in several areas including Multani Chowk Road, Badwali Dhani, Shanti Nagar and Shastri Nagar.

During the inspection, the MC Commissioner directed the officials concerned to further improve cleanliness works in the areas and ensure better maintenance of parks.

The MC has divided the town into two zones for the campaign. The Zone 1 is under the responsibility of Additional Commissioner Shalini Chetal, while second Zone II is being monitored by Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr Pradeep Hooda.

In the Zone 1, the inspection was carried out in the areas of cleanliness campaign in areas, including Jahajpul to Multani Chowk, Tekda Mohalla, Shastri Nagar, Dogran Mohalla Road, Yog Nagar, Bhutani Colony, Sudama Nagar, Shanti Nagar and from the library to Thandi Sadak.

ASI Rahul and Rohit supervised the work of 50 sanitation workers supported by one tipper truck, two tractor trailers and one eartmoving machine. In Multani Road Park, the horticulture branch also carried out pruning of trees. Another team carried out cleaning work from Lahoria Chowk to 12 Quarter Road (up to Yog School) with 30 sanitation workers and one tractor trailer.

In Zone 2, Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr Hooda carried out inspection of the area around Matka Chowk, Krantiman park, Lajpat Nagar and issued necessary instructions to sanitation staff.
