In an exemplary display of honesty, a 17-year-old student, Keshav, returned Rs one lakh to the Hisar branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) after he found the cash unattended inside an ATM cabin.

Keshav, a Class XI student of KL Arya DAV Public School, had visited the ATM to withdraw cash when he noticed a bundle of currency notes lying inside the cabin. Without hesitation, he picked up the cash and immediately informed the bank staff.

The bank officials were shocked to realise that the money had been left behind due to an oversight on their part. Just a few minutes earlier, the staff had replenished the ATM with cash, inadvertently leaving behind a bundle of notes inside the cabin.
