Hisar tech university inks agreement with NIT-Delhi

A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (GJUST), and National Institute of Technology, Delhi (NIT).
Vice-Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi, signed the MoU on behalf of the GJUST and Professor and Dean (Faculty Welfare) Manoj Kumar on behalf of the NIT.
V-C Bishnoi said the collaboration and cooperation between GJUST and NIT through this MoU will promote more effective use of each of their resources and provide each of them with enhanced opportunities. The institutions will cooperate and focus their efforts on cooperation within the area of skill-based training, education and research.
It also recognises the mutual interest in the field of research, development, education, training, transfer technology and dissemination of knowledge on long term on academic benefits. It will also recognise the importance of institutes of higher education in promotion methods and techniques for science and technology. Kumar expressed happiness and said the MoU will be extremely beneficial for both the institutions.
GJUST International Affairs Dean Namita Singh said both the institutions will promote appropriate joint research projects, joint consultancy with particular emphasis on national and internationally funded projects. The institutions will also organise joint symposia, workshops, lectures, training programmes and conferences. There will be a joint supervision of post graduate and PhD students.
