A gym trainer and his accomplices have been booked for allegedly assaulting the sons of BJP MLA Harendra Singh Ramratan from Hodal in Faridabad.

The younger son of the MLA was assaulted, and when he called his elder brother, the accused beat him up, too.

It is claimed that casteist words were also used against them. An FIR has been registered at Metro police station.

Meanwhile, the gym trainer, Prithvi Chaprana, has also lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that the MLA's son called outsiders and brandished a pistol. The police are investigating the allegations of both parties and examining the footage of a CCTV camera installed in the gym.

According to the police, the gym is located in Sector 28 Metro station area, while the MLA lives with his family in Sector 31, Faridabad. On Friday, around 7.30 pm, the MLA's younger son Vishal had gone to the gym. After using the dumbbells, he kept them somewhere else. Seeing this, the trainer asked him to put them in the right place. Vishal refused to do so, and an argument ensued, escalating into a scuffle.

It is alleged that the trainer called his friends and threw the MLA's son on the ground and beat him up. Vishal called his brother Jagpriya, who reached the gym. The trainer, along with his friends, reportedly also beat him up.

As soon as the MLA got information about the incident, he got his sons medically examined. It is claimed that both have suffered internal injuries.

On the complaint of Vishal, an FIR was registered against the trainer and his friends under the SC/ST Act.

“There is a dispute between two parties regarding dumbbells. After an argument, a fight broke out between them. The gym trainer also alleged that Vishal called about 15 men at the gym. We are investigating and action will be taken as per the law,” said Inspector Anup Singh, SHO of Metro police station.
