Holistic development of Ateli my priority, says Arti Rao
BJP candidate Arti Singh Rao, daughter of Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, said holistic development of the Ateli Assembly constituency was her priority. She would not only redress public grievances but also work to generate employment opportunities for locals.
Arti stated this while addressing a series of poll meetings in Ateli here today. “People of Ateli will not have to go to Chandigarh for their grievances and other works. I will come to them from Chandigarh, so press the button of ‘lotus’ on October 5 to make me the winner from here and to form the BJP government in the state,” she said.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh has claimed that Arti was getting huge support from people of Ateli Assembly constituency during her poll meetings.
“Though Arti had started her poll campaign a bit late, her popularity graph is rising with every passing day. Two days ago, I attended Arti’s poll meetings in Kakrala, Baghot and Pathera villages where a large number of people assembled to hear her. Similar response was seen in other villages,” said Rao, during an interaction with media in Ateli on Monday.
The Union Minister said, “We have a deep connection with Ateli. I was elected Member of Parliament from this area. It was part of Mahendragarh parliamentary constituency at that time. My father Rao Birendra Singh also became MLA from this area and then the Chief Minister, so giving us a tag of outsiders is not appropriate.”
Talking to mediapersons on the occasion, BJP veteran and former state president Ram Bilas Sharma claimed Arti would win the election by a huge margin as people of Ateli constituency liked her. Rao Inderjit too had worked for the betterment of Ahirwal, he added.
