A vibrant display of culinary skills, creativity and hospitality expertise marked the conclusion of ‘Kaushal Spardha’, a week-long hospitality competition hosted by the Institute of Hotel Management (IMH), Rohtak. The event culminated on Friday with the prize distribution ceremony.
Munesh Dadha, chief coordinator of the event, said over 60 students enrolled in BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and diploma courses participated in the event, showcasing a range of hospitality-related skills essential for building successful careers in the hospitality industry—both in India and abroad.
“The competition was thoughtfully designed to challenge the students’ creativity, sharpen their professional edge and prepare them for real-world scenarios in the hospitality sector,” said Dadha.
He said students competed in various skill-based activities ranging from table setup and food presentation to front-office operations and theme-based decor challenges, demonstrating flair and professionalism that impressed both judges and attendees. Inner Wheel Club president Raj Arora, secretary Dr Manju Badhwar, Usha Ahlawat, Dr Anju Pandey and Sushma Batra were among those present at the closing ceremony.
