In Sirsa, the land registration process at the e-Disha Centre has slowed down tremendously. People are forced to wait for days even after getting a token. The main reason behind this delay is the absence of a full-time tehsildar. A month ago, the previous tehsildar, Bhuvnesh Kumar, was suspended due to an alleged bribery scandal. Since then, the registry work has been handed over to other officers, but the system is not functioning smoothly. Long queues, frustrated residents and poor management have created a serious crisis. People are demanding quick action, but so far, only temporary steps have been taken. The pressure continues to mount on the Naib Tehsildar, who is left to handle everything alone.
