Haryana has been ranked as the fastest growing state in the NITI Aayog’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Index 2020-21.
This was stated by Sanyukta Samaddar, Adviser, NITI Aayog, during a workshop organised by Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management here today. The workshop was chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Khattar also released the Haryana SDG Index 2020-21 and Haryana Provisional SDG District Index 2021.
Khattar said: “Since 2015, SDG Index development priorities have been set for every state, under which they were given 17 goals to achieve. All parameters fixed for achieving SDG goals 2030 are being implemented in a phased manner in the state.”
