The Haryana Government has appointed Bhopal Singh as the chairman of the Haryana State Selection Commission (HSSC). He has replaced BB Bharti.

Bhopal Singh is a postgraduate in eight subjects, besides being a law graduate. He has RSS background and is considered close to CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Listing his priorities, he said transparency in selection would be his focus.

Kanwal Jeet Saini, Vijay Kumar, Satyawan Shera, Vikash Dahiya and Sachin Jain have been appointed as members of the commission. — TNS
