Responding to a question by MP Kumari Selja, the minister shared data on wheat procurement from Haryana over the past five years, which showed fluctuating contributions: 84.93 LMT (2021-22), 41.86 LMT (2022-23), 63.17 LMT (2023-24), 71.50 LMT (2024-25), and 71.43 LMT so far this year.

On the issue of DAP fertiliser supply, Bambhaniya clarified that while the Department of Fertilisers under the Union Government allocated DAP based on projections made by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW), the distribution within the state was the responsibility of the state government.
