Hisar: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Hansi, who was incharge of the Dial 112 team, reportedly shot himself from his service revolver at his residence in Umra village of the district on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Raj Singh. His colleagues in the police said he had been depressed over some issue for the last few days. They said he, however, refused to share his problems. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ravinder Sangwan, said they had started an investigation into the incident.

Plaints resolved at mc camp

Karnal: The Karnal Municipal Corporation organised ‘Samadhan Shivir’ in the commissioner’s office on Tuesday. As many as 16 complaints were received, out of which seven were resolved on the spot. The remaining nine complainants have been given a timeline of one week for resolution. A majority of the complaints were related to property IDs. Niraj Kadiyan, Commissioner, KMC, said in the pending complaints, there was a need for field verification.
