Days after the suspension of the Karnal and Taraori market committees’ secretaries, Vinay Singh, Chief Administrator (CA), Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB), has suspended market committee secretary Raj Kumar allegedly for not abiding by the directions of the CA.

Kumar was suspended on the report of the District Marketing Enforcement Officer (DMEO) HSAMB, Ishwar Rana, who inspected the grain market on September 17 and found no employee was deployed on the gate even though the CA had given the directions to deploy employees to issue incoming gate passes to farmers for paddy.

Last week, the CA has suspended the secretaries of Karnal and Taraori market committees for irregularities.
