While inviting the people to the OBC Sammelan, which is supposed to be held in Mahendragarh on July 16, and the state-level ‘Maharaja Daksh Prajapati Jayanti’ programme in Hisar on July 20, Gangwa said the BJP government at the Centre and in the state were carrying out development works keeping in view the interests of every section of society.

“Increasing the limit of the creamy layer of OBCs from Rs 6 to 8 lakhs in the state on the lines of the Central Government is a very commendable step. This announcement will benefit the OBCs in fields related to employment and others. Moreover, the present government is giving jobs only on the basis of merit. The OBC quota for recruitment in the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation has also been fixed at 27 per cent so that people belonging to every section of society can have equal access to employment opportunities,” he added.
