INLD leader Sunaina Chautala has launched a scathing attack on BJP MP Ram Chander Jangra, demanding a public apology for his “derogatory remarks” about the women victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.

She demanded that Jangra publicly apologise by touching the feet of the women victims or resign from his post.

“If he fails to do so, the women’s wing of the INLD will protest outside his residence,” she said while interacting with mediapersons at the residence of the party’s district president, Surjeet Singh, on Tuesday.

“BJP MP Jangra’s comment is unacceptable. He has insulted the women who lost their husbands in Pahalgam. Earlier, he had made offensive remarks during the farmers’ protests,” she said.

Chautala was here to meet INLD cadres and strengthen the party’s grassroots network. She also took a jibe at the Congress, calling it a fractured party.

“Rahul Gandhi may be visiting Haryana, but I do not think he can revive Congress here. The party has repeatedly changed its state leadership in an attempt to rebuild the organisation, but internal factionalism continues to cripple it. Whether it is the Hooda camp, Selja camp or the Surjewala camp — no one knows who is leading. People are fed up with this confusion,” she said.

She hailed former CM OP Chautala as a visionary leader. “He brought numerous public welfare schemes to Haryana, including the formation of the state women’s commission,” she added.

Targeting the BJP government, Sunaina alleged widespread corruption and administrative failures.

“From property ID frauds to family ID scams, and over 11 paper leaks in 11 years, the BJP government has failed. Highly educated youngsters are now being forced to seek jobs abroad. This is not just brain drain — it is a sign of broken governance,” she said.
