The minister said the practice of yoga established oneness of body and mind, thought and action, restraint and perfection, and the harmony of man and nature. It was a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, he added.

“Yoga is not just an exercise but an expression of oneness. Yoga creates awareness in us by bringing changes in our lifestyle and can be helpful in tolerating changes occurring in the body due to natural causes,” the minister said. “Yoga proves to be very useful in guiding all of us. We should also talk about our feelings towards others to make our life meaningful.”
