Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini urged the youth to recognise the hidden spirit of Lord Parshuram within themselves. He encouraged them to awaken courage, knowledge, and the spirit of service for building a developed India and Haryana. He also appealed to citizens to embrace truth, integrity, and righteousness in their lives, thereby creating an India and Haryana that are spiritually strong and pure of heart.

The CM was addressing an event organised in Panchkula on the occasion of Lord Parshuram’s birth anniversary. CM Saini announced a grant of Rs 31 lakh for the celebrations. He also announced that the government has named the new medical college in Kaithal after Lord Parshuram and declared a gazetted holiday on his birth anniversary.

The programme was also attended by Cabinet Minister Dr Arvind Sharma, UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Rajya Sabha MPs Kartikeya Sharma, Surendra Nagar and Rekha Sharma, Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma, former minister Vinod Sharma and former Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb.

Extending his greetings and best wishes on the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram, CM Saini said Lord Parshuram was the flagbearer of the battle against injustice.

Saini said as we move forward with the resolve to create a developed India and a developed Haryana, the ideals and teachings of Lord Parshuram inspire us to walk the righteous path. Throughout his life, Lord Parshuram fought against injustice and wielded arms solely for the welfare of society and the protection of righteousness. Our government too, he said, is progressing with the mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas," as shown by Lord Parshuram.

He added that just as Lord Parshuram enriched the nation through both education and martial knowledge, today we too must strengthen our cultural heritage alongside embracing modern knowledge and technology. Our traditions, our language, and our culture, he emphasised, are the soul of our nation.

He said as we promote initiatives like Digital India, Startup India, Make in India, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, we must also take a pledge, with the same determination as Lord Parshuram, to re-establish India as a world leader. He urged the youth to learn from Lord Parshuram’s life that with knowledge, determination, and patriotism, any goal can be achieved.
