Japanese woman 'falls' from balcony, dies
A Japanese woman was found dead after reportedly falling from a balcony on the 14th floor here, the police said on Sunday.
The woman, identified as Madoko Thamano (34), had come to Gurugram with her family in September. She was living in a society with her husband and two children.
The incident took place on Friday morning. The police received a call regarding a woman’s body on the ground, a senior police officer said.
The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
"The embassy has also been informed about the incident,” said Inspector Sandeep Kumar, SHO, Sector 53 police station.
