Jat College lifts MDU cricket trophy
Jat College, Rohtak, became the champion by defeating University Teaching Departments (UTD) in Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Inter-College Men’s Cricket Competition, while Pt Neki Ram Sharma College defeated Vaish College, Rohtak, to secure the third place.
Deepanshu of Jat College, Rohtak, scored 79 runs in 57 balls and took three wickets for 23 runs in four overs in the final match. In another match of the Inter-College Men’s Cricket Competition held at MDU’s Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Cricket Stadium, Pt Neki Ram Sharma College, Rohtak, defeated Vaish College, Rohtak, by 77 runs and achieved a one-sided victory to secure the third position in the tournament.
