The NPTI conducts various academic, training and capacity-building programmes for the power sector. The students were awarded with the certificate of appreciation by the Director-General of the NPTI, Dr Tripta Thakur, in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof Sushil Kumar Tomar. The students, who were felicitated include Ankur Tripathi, Deepu, Harsh, Anirudh and Aastha Dutta. All were students of BJMC-III. Besides, Assistant Professor Dr Rahul Arya and production assistant Ram Raspal Singh were also awarded with the certificate of appreciation.
Marine Day celebrated
Karnal: Dyal Singh Public School, Sector 7, Karnal, celebrated Marine Day. The objective of the celebration was to foster an understanding among students about the need to conserve marine life. Students dressed up as sea creatures walked on the ramp and conveyed the message as to how one should conserve aquatic life. Through their mesmerising dance performance, they conveyed the message of water conservation. Shalini Narang, Principal, made the students aware about the crucial role played by oceans in sustaining life on earth.
Online quiz organised
Yamunanagar: An online quiz was organised by the community college on the premises of Guru Nanak Khalsa College. In this online quiz, students were asked questions related to commerce, management and economics. A poster-making competition was also organised in which the students were asked to make posters mainly related to financial institutions or various services related to it. Principal of the college Dr (Major) Harinder Singh Kang wished the students a bright future. Dr Sanjay Arora, coordinator of the community college, thanked the managing committee of the college which encouraged the students and the staff by organising such events from time to time.
