JE, architect held taking Rs 1.25L bribe
The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested a junior engineer (JE) and an architect, both posted at HSIIDC, IMT Manesar, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1.25 lakh.
The officials were arrested while taking the the bribe in exchange for approving a building plan.
A government spokesperson said the ACB received a complaint in which the complainant stated that JE Satyanarayan Bhardwaj and architect Deepak had demanded bribe to approve a building plan. The Anti Corruption Bureau set up a trap and caught both the officials. An FIR has been registered against the accused at the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Gurugram police station.
