Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pradeep Dahiya has directed officials to follow the dress code during duty hours in a proper manner. Disciplinary action will be taken against those found not wearing the uniform during duty hours.

Dahiya issued the directives on Tuesday while carrying out surprise inspections of various government offices located at the Mini-Secretariat here. He also asked the officials to keep their office clean and come for duty on time.

As per the instructions, Class IV employees and security guard should wear the khaki uniform while other officials normal dress.

The DC also inspected the offices, including e-Disha Centre, Tehsil Office, District Development and Panchayat Officer (DDPO), Election, District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO). He expressed satisfaction after seeing sanitary conditions at the Mini-Secretariat.

Dahiya also instructed the employees to take care of cleanliness and discipline in the maintenance of files and documents so that the public could get better and smooth services.
