Jhajjar, April 19
Heart-rending scenes were witnessed as mortal remains of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Surender Singh (51) reached his native Bhambhewa village here today. He was posted at the Dakpura railway station in Jammu and Kashmir. Surender was killed in an attack by militants there yesterday. He is survived by his mother, wife, two married daughters and a son studying in Class XII. Hundreds of villagers and politicians were present at the cremation.
