Jind district records highest overall pass percentage
Arpandeep Singh from Kaithal has topped the Haryana Board Class XII exams with 497 of 500 marks. A commerce student at Government Senior Secondary School, Seon Majra village, he scored a perfect 100 in three subjects.
Karina, a commerce student from Rachana Senior Secondary School, Manaoli village in Sonepat district, and Yashika, also a commerce student, from SD Kanya Mahavidalaya in Narwana of Jind district, secured the second position with 495 marks each. All three toppers are from the commerce stream.
Saroj from Jind district, an arts student, stood third with 494 marks, while Bhiwani's Naman Verma from the science stream secured the fourth place with 493 marks. Jind district recorded the highest overall pass percentage, while Nuh was at the bottom.
Others in the top 10 are Naman Verma, Vandana, Afsana (all from Bhiwani); Rajat from Rewari; Nancy from Charkhi Dadri; and Chanchal from Fatehabad. Two students from outside Haryana—Vandana from Churu, Rajasthan, and Naman from Gonda, Uttar Pradesh—appeared from Bhiwani centres and also made it to the list.
