J&K girl students complete internship at IIM
Rohtak, June 13
With a view to aiding the development in Jammu and Kashmir and contributing towards women empowerment, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Rohtak offered an opportunity to girl students of Jammu and Kashmir to spend six to eight weeks on the IIM-Rohtak campus to hone their entrepreneurship and management skills.
“This programme was offered through different educational institutions of Jammu and Kashmir. Nearly 350 students expressed interest in the internship, of whom 64 were shortlisted. These students were invited to stay on the IIM-Rohtak campus, during which they got an opportunity to learn from our faculty and imbibe the IIM culture,” said a statement issued here today. The IIM-Rohtak Director, Prof Dheeraj Sharma, congratulated the students for successfully engaging in the internship with the institution. — TNS
