The BJP held a meeting of its active members in Radaur town of Yamunanagar district on Friday. Several senior leaders and dedicated party workers took part in the event with enthusiasm.

Addressing the gathering, Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana said the BJP was a well-organised party and its biggest strength was its hardworking and loyal workers.

“The office-bearers and workers are the backbone of the party. When they are strong, the party is able to achieve all its goals,” said Rana.

He said the BJP believed in taking all sections of society along and respected its workers, which made it different from other parties.

“Even workers from other parties are joining the BJP after getting inspired by its policies. We never do politics based on caste or religion,” said Rana.

He also said because of the BJP’s good policies and loyal workers, the party has formed a 'triple engine' government – at the Centre, in the state, and at the local level.

Speaking about the state government, Rana said under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the aim was to ensure every government scheme reached the last person in society, and BJP workers would play a key role in achieving this.

Later, the Agriculture Minister visited Alahar village in Radaur and invited people to attend a mega rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Yamunanagar on the occasion of Dr B R Ambedkar Jayanti (April 14).

He said on the same day, the Prime Minister would lay the foundation stone of a new 800 MW unit in Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar, inaugurate a new airport terminal in Hisar and launch several other projects. “These projects will boost Haryana’s development and directly benefit the people,” he said.

Rana said there was great excitement among the people for the rallies in Hisar and Yamunanagar. He claimed that thousands of youth, women and men from the Radaur area would attend the rally.
