The government today appointed Justice Harjinder Singh Bhalla (retd), a former judge of the Orissa High Court and Punjab and Haryana High Court, as chairperson of the second Haryana State Law Commission, constituted on May 26.

The terms and conditions of his appointment will be issued later.

Besides him, two members — Kamal Kant and Mukesh Garg — have also been appointed. — TNS
