Justice Suvir Sehgal inspects judicial courts in Yamunanagar
Justice Suvir Sehgal, Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Administrative Judge of the District and Sessions Court, Yamunanagar, conducted an inspection of the district’s judicial courts on Wednesday.
Following the inspection, Justice Sehgal attended a meeting organised in the auditorium of the District Bar Association, Jagadhari, where he addressed advocates and listened to their concerns.
Justice Sehgal was welcomed by Vikrant Singh Chauhan, president of the District Bar Association, along with the entire executive body. During the meeting, Chauhan apprised him of key issues faced by the Bar, particularly the need for permanent chambers and parking facilities.
Justice Sehgal assured the gathering that their demands would be taken seriously. “I had a pleasant experience visiting the District Bar Association, Jagadhri, and every effort will be made to fulfil the requests put forward by the Bar president,” he said.
As a mark of respect, senior advocate and former District Bar Association presidents BS Chauhan and Anil Aggarwal honoured Justice Sehgal by presenting him with a shawl and a memento.
The meeting was conducted by Vishal Garg, general secretary of the Bar Association. The event was attended by vice-president Sonia Rohilla, joint secretary Shubham Gautam, treasurer Shubham Pal and several senior advocates, including Ram Kumar Radauri, Mulakh Raj Aneja, Pradeep Kumar Rathore, Amar Singh Kamboj, Vijay Kumar Gautam, Chaman Lal Kaushish, Gian Chander Verma, Satpal Singh Nagla, Ram Kumar Bubka, Rameshwar Singh, Daulat Ram Dabda, Sultan Singh, Ajay Shandilya, Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Harvindra Bhushan Aneja, Priyanka Mishra, Monica Rani, and many others.
