The injured bouncer was rushed to a hospital. The accused were presented in a city court, where four of them were sent to judicial custody, while the fifth, a 17-year-old minor, was granted bail.

According to the complaint filed by 32-year-old Manjeet Rathi, a resident of Sonepat who works as a bouncer at Ipsa Club in Sahara Mall, the incident occurred around 5 am on Thursday. Rathi had been on duty since the previous night, and as the club approached its closing time, most of the crowd had left, but a few remained.

Rathi recounted that he approached five young men seated at a table and informed them that the club would soon close, suggesting they finish their drinks. In response, one of the youths allegedly abused him, stating they had paid to stay until 7 am. The youth then slapped Rathi, while his companions began beating him. One of the assailants reportedly struck Rathi’s neck with a sharp blade, causing him to collapse and bleed.

An FIR was lodged at the Sector 29 police station. The police arrested all five accused, who were identified as Rohit, Sagar, Jeevan and Rohan —Nepalese nationals working in local hotels and residing in the Sector 43 area.
