Kurukshetra, August 22
After remaining suspended for almost five months, the light and sound show at Jyotisar is set to resume within a week. The Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB) and local administration have decided to resume the show, with just 50 persons allowed against a capacity of 300.
“The light and sound show was started last year, but was suspended due to Covid. The show will resume within a week. There will be two shows a day, one in Hindi and the other in English. The board will arrange thermal scanning and sanitisers,” said KDB honorary secretary Madan Mohan Chhabra.
“Jyotisar is being developed at a cost of around Rs 100 crore. A consultancy firm will be hired for the theme park at Jyotisar. A 42-foot-tall bronze statue of Lord Krishna will come up in December at a cost of Rs 10 crore,” he said.
