Kadiyan joins as Karnal MC Commissioner

A 2019-batch IAS officer, Niraj Kadiyan, has joined as the new Commissioner of the Karnal Municipal Corporation (KMC) today. While chairing a meeting of officials of the corporation, he advised them to work hard and diligently. He has also been assigned the duty of the District Municipal Commissioner.

Earlier, he had served as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and District Civic Resource Information officer in Hisar and SDM in Narwana and Naraingarh. He had also served as Trainee Assistant Commissioner in Karnal.

He advised officials and employees to ensure better facilities to citizens in a timely manner. The Commissioner inspected the MC office and reviewed the works. He visited various departments such as the help desk, citizen facility centre, property tax branch, building branch, engineering branch, and accounts branch on the ground floor, first and second floors.
