Kaithal Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Kalia conducted an inspection of the Cheeka police station on Monday. He held a meeting with the police personnel and emphasised the importance of carrying out their duties with honesty while maintaining respectful conduct with public.

To promote environmental conservation, SP Kalia planted saplings on the premises of the police station.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
