Kalanwali MLA inaugurates development works in Sirsa

Shishpal Keharwala, MLA from Kalanwali, on Tuesday toured several villages and inaugurated various development projects. He also laid foundation stones in villages such as Ahmadpur, Nejadela, Panihari, Sangarsadhan, Suchan, Thedi Baba Sawan Singh, Dhani Majra, Dhani Khuhwali, and Patli Dabar.

During these visits, Keharwala addressed problems faced by rural residents. He said the Congress was committed to the welfare and interests of all sections of society. The MLA stated that whenever the residents brought problems to his attention, he addressed these.

He criticised the BJP government for ‘misleading’ the public with false promises of development and alleged discrimination in development works in the Kalanwali constituency.

Keharwala affirmed his unwavering dedication to the development of his constituency. He said he had consistently raised his voice for the people in the Legislative Assembly. He called on all rural residents to unite and work towards forming a Congress government in the state, promising to extend the party’s welfare policies to every doorstep and to increase the party’s membership.

Keharwala said the Congress had released a ‘15-point chargesheet’ against the BJP government in the state. The party has also launched “Haryana Mange Hisab” to bring the Congress’ announcements to the public. He claimed that the Congress had received tremendous support from the public for all its initiatives so far, including the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, ‘Vipaksh Aapke Samaksh’, ‘Ghar-Ghar Congress’, ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan’, ‘Jan Milan Samaroh’, and ‘Dhanyawadhi Karyakarta Sammelan’. He said, “Haryana Mange Hisab” marks a new beginning in this series, which aims at not only highlighting the BJP’s failures and the Congress’ promises, but also gathering suggestions from the public for the party’s manifesto.
