Karnal BJP leaders unite over district president's selection
The Karnal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unanimously decided not to hold an election process for the selection of district president, instead they have collectively left the decision on the party’s state leadership. The leaders said they did not want an election process for the post and they would accept the decision of the party leadership. They submitted a consent letter to BJP leader Dhumal Singh Kirmach, who was sent by the party’s leadership to take suggestions from the party leaders, and workers.
The BJP is holding its organisational formation process across the state as a “Sangathan Parv.” As part of the initiative, core group meetings are being organised across Haryana to elect district presidents. A meeting was organised at the district party office, Karna Kamal, to discuss the selection of the district president.
The meeting was attended by Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand, Indri MLA Ram Kumar Kashyap, Assandh MLA Yogendra Rana, Nilokheri MLA Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi, district working president Brij Gupta, former Mayor Renu Bala Gupta and other prominent leaders, including former district presidents and others.
After the discussion, Kirmach said the opinions of all MLAs, mandal presidents, and party leaders were sought regarding the selection of the district president.
Expressing appreciation for the unity among the BJP leaders and workers in Karnal, Kiramach said, “It is commendable that all leaders and workers are working unanimously for the organisation. I am happy that all party leaders want the selection of the district president by the state leadership and they will accept the decision,” said Kirmach.
He also congratulated the newly appointed mandal presidents and emphasised that dedicated and honest BJP workers were often given responsibilities within the organisation.
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government in Haryana, Kiramach said, “Under the leadership of the CM Nayab Singh Saini the government is working tirelessly to provide all facilities to the people. Major projects are underway to enhance public welfare. The workers should actively communicate the government’s policies to the masses and demonstrate how these initiatives are benefiting them.”
