Karnal DC appointed executive member of state Olympic body

Karnal Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh has been appointed as an executive member of the Haryana Olympic Association.

The president of the association, Capt Jaswinder Meenu Beniwal, congratulated him and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to the development of sports in the state.

“It is a matter of pride to have a capable, visionary and dedicated officer like Uttam Singh associated with the association. His dynamic leadership and administrative experience will play a key role in enhancing the functioning and growth of the association,” said Capt Beniwal in a press release.

Beniwal further said his inclusion would further help in progressive developments in the field of sports across the state. “His involvement will encourage youth participation in sports and help promote athletic activities at all levels,” he added. — TNS
