In a significant development for skill-based employment, students of Babu Mool Chand Jain Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Karnal, may soon have the opportunity to secure jobs in Japan.
Principal Rakesh Bhatia announced this after a visit by Yoko from Japan, who was accompanied by Rahul Mishra. The delegation visited the institute on Thursday, interacted with students and gathered insights into the various trades being taught at the institution.
During the visit, discussions were held regarding potential employment opportunities for ITI students in Japan's various industries. Bhatia said the initiative was part of the Haryana Government’s efforts under the Department of Youth, Entrepreneurship, and Skill Employment, which aimed at expanding global job prospects for ITI-trained youth.
He further emphasised that the visit marked a historic milestone, paving the way for hundreds of students from ITI, Karnal, to secure employment in Japan in the coming years. The initiative has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of additional director Sanjeev Sharma, whose contributions has played a crucial role in establishing this international employment link.
Bhatia said they would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that their students benefited from the initiative, in accordance with the Haryana Government’s policies. The move is expected to enhance global exposure for ITI students, providing them with better career prospects and skill enhancement opportunities.
