The property freezing order, issued by the police, has also been confirmed by the competent authority in New Delhi, said SP Ganga Ram Punia.
After this action, the accused cannot sell, transfer or gift the properties. “We took this action under the provision of Section 68 F of the NDPS Act,” said the SP.
The process was carried out under the supervision of SI Himmat Singh and SHO (Nissing) inspector Shri Bhagwan. The investigation revealed that Gurmukh Singh had been involved in large-scale smuggling. A case against him had earlier been registered at Pundri police station in Kaithal.
