Khattar hails BJP’s landslide win in Panipat civic polls
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar congratulated newly elected Mayor Komal Saini and 23 councillors for BJP’s landslide victory in Panipat’s civic polls. Speaking at a welcome event in Sector 25, Khattar emphasised the increased responsibility that comes with such a decisive win.
“Panipat has always made history for BJP, but with greater victories come greater responsibilities,” he said. Khattar urged the newly elected representatives to provide a corruption-free administration and prioritise public issues.
Taking a dig at Congress, Khattar accused the party of being trapped in casteism, nepotism and regionalism. He credited BJP’s success to the state’s continuous development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Earlier, Khattar visited Bal Gram in Sonepat to celebrate Holi with children. The kids welcomed him with ‘gulal tilak,’ and he expressed joy at meeting them. “Holi is not just a festival but a reflection of life’s vibrant colours,” he said.
The event in Panipat showcased BJP’s strong grassroots support, with leaders and workers celebrating the party’s unwavering dominance in the region.
