Khattar slams Rahul over ED raid remark

Karnal, August 3
Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today attacked Rahul Gandhi over his claim on the ED planning to conduct raid against him, saying, “Only the one who has committed sin is afraid.”
He said this while interacting with party workers and commoners at the BJP’s district office. Speaking on the controversy over Rahul Gandhi’s caste in the Parliament, the former Chief Minister said, “On one hand, they say no one has the right to ask about caste, and on the other hand, they demand a caste census. When the caste census happens, everyone will have to reveal their caste. Anyone can not ride two boats at the same time,” said Khattar. He praised CM Nayab Saini, saying, “I have worked with him, and he takes suggestions from everyone.”
When asked if the BJP took suggestions from the RSS on candidate selection, he said, “We take advice from everyone, be it journalists or leaders. We consult everyone to select a good candidate.”On unemployment, he said the BJP government had given more jobs than the Congress. — TNS
