The Central University of Haryana (CUH) here today organised its 10th Convocation wherein, chief guest Governor Bandaru Dattatreya conferred PhD, MPhil, post graduate and graduate degrees on 1,338 students and research scholars.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said knowledge was the greatest power for nation building. Appealing to the youth to become job providers rather than job seekers, he emphasised that the global-level curricula introduced under the New Education Policy would help restore India’s legacy of knowledge and re-establish its glory.

Prof Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Punjab, exhorted the students to pledge their contributions to build a new, prosperous, and ambitious India. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CUH, said after completing their studies and research, the students were today stepping into a world of new possibilities.
