Outgoing MLA and Haryana Jansewak Party (HJP) candidate from Meham Assembly constituency Balraj Singh Kundu alleged physical assault on himself and his personal assistant by Congress candidate Balram Dangi’s father and former Haryana minister Anand Singh Dangi at a polling booth in Madina village of Rohtak.

“I went to a polling booth at Madina village to see the voting process. Meanwhile, Anand Singh Dangi also reached there with nearly 20-25 supporters, assaulted me and tore my clothes. My PA was also attacked and injured in the assault,” alleged Kundu.

Rohtak DC-cum-District Election Officer Ajay Kumar and SP Himanshu Garg visited the spot where the clash had allegedly taken place. In the complaint, Kundu alleged that Anand Singh Dangi and his supporters were involved in booth-capturing in connivance with the polling officials and police personnel posted at the booth.
