Kurukshetra DC issues show-cause notice to DFSC over pending plaint

The DC held a review meeting regarding the CM Window complaints and expressed dissatisfaction over pendency.
Meena said the DFSC had not presented Action Taken Report (ATR) in the past four months. The DFSC has been directed to be present in the DC office on Monday along with the complainant and the response.
According to district administration, 11,745 complaints have been received at the CM Window so far. Of these, 160 are under process and 138 were pending. The DC directed officials to submit ATRs for overdue complaints by Thursday.
Meena said login ID of Common Service Centre operator against whom complaints of demanding money had been received should be blocked and then the matter should be probed.
While reviewing the complaints received on Social Media Grievance Tracker (SMGT), CPGRAMS, Jan Samvaad and Samadhan Shivir, the DC issued a show-cause notice to the District Town Planner (DTP) for being absent from the meeting.
The DC said the CM had a special focus on Kurukshetra and officers should take all types of complaints seriously and resolve them. Absence of officers from meetings without prior notice would not be tolerated, he said. Four complaints related to the DTP received during the Samadhan Shivir are pending.
As many as 6,816 complaints have been received at Samadhan Shivir. Of these, 168 are pending and 4,859 have been resolved. Further, 1,432 have been cancelled and 342 have been reopened.
Under the SMGT, 93 complaints are pending and 21 are pending resolution on the CPGRAMS portal. Of 387 complaints received under Jan Samvaad, 107 are under process and 58 are overdue.
Meena said complaints received on the SMGT must be resolved within 24 hours.
The DC directed officials of the Labour Department to conduct regular visits at brick-kilns to crosscheck complaints of bonded labourers.
