Kurukshetra University is set to hold its 34th convocation at the auditorium hall of the university on February 18.
Vice-Chancellor Som Nath Sachdeva said the convocation was an emblem of the university’s commitment to providing students with a high-quality education and preparing them for their future careers.
Convocation convener and Dean (Academic Affairs) Dinesh Kumar said various committees had been constituted and important guidelines had been issued for the smooth organisation of the ceremony.
During the convocation, degrees will be awarded to 2,959 undergraduate and post-graduate students. PhD degrees will be conferred on 205 graduand scholars and 107 students are set to get gold medals and merit certificates.
A Kurukshetra University spokesperson said students who completed their studies in the 2023-24 session could go to the Kurukshetra University website to register themselves online.
It was mandatory for the registered students to participate in the rehearsal, to be held on February 17, he added.
The convocation dress code for boys is white kurta/shirt, white trousers, white dhoti/pyjama and an optional white turban. Girls are expected wear cream sarees or white dresses.
